The Journey
A journey through Sintra and the Atlantic coast.
A long weekend in which every part of the program has already been thoughtfully coordinated. This small-group journey brings together historic Sintra, the roads of Colares, the Atlantic coast, regional gastronomy and local winemaking traditions.
Why This Format
Four days, thoughtfully coordinated
The route, transport, restaurants, reservations and timing have been planned to work together. You do not need to assemble the journey from dozens of separate decisions.
Only six guests
This group size allows for comfortable logistics, flexibility and a lively, personal format without the feeling of a standard group tour.
Personally hosted
The program has been personally designed by Julia, who will accompany the group throughout the journey and coordinate the logistics and all local partners.

Accommodation and Transport
Our House for the Weekend
During the journey, we will stay in a bright and comfortable private house in a quiet residential area of Sintra. The house has four bedrooms, shared living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a small garden and a swimming pool.
It is located approximately seven minutes by car from Sintra's historic centre. This allows us to return home between the daytime and evening parts of the program to rest and change before dinner.
This is not a hotel where everyone returns to a separate room at the end of the day. For a few days, the house becomes our shared space: the first dinner will take place here, we will return after our days out, and in the evening there will be the option to continue a conversation, have tea in the garden, sit by the pool or gather around the fire.
Transport
Throughout the journey, the group will travel in a spacious Mercedes minivan.
Airport transfers will be arranged by car or minivan according to guests' arrival and departure times. Guests whose flights are close together may share a transfer.

The price includes almost everything needed for the journey – accommodation, meals included in the program, transport, personal hosting and all scheduled activities.

Not Included
- Flights to Lisbon
- Late lunch in Cascais on the day of departure
- Personal expenses, including massage, souvenirs and additional drinks
- Medical and trip cancellation insurance, which is strongly recommended
Booking and Cancellation
A deposit of €300 is required to reserve a place.
The remaining balance is due no later than three weeks before the journey begins.
Cancellation policy
- 35 days or more before the start of the journey – full refund of all payments made
- 34–15 days before the start of the journey – the €300 deposit is retained and any additional payments are refunded
- Fewer than 15 days before the start of the journey – all payments are non-refundable
If the cancelled place can be resold to another guest, a full or partial refund may be offered, depending on the expenses already incurred.
